FTSE 250 movers: Playtech on the rise; PureTech Health slips

15:10, 29th April 2024

FTSE 250 (MCX) 19,965.39 0.71%
Shares in gambling software maker Playtech rose after the company said it had extended a strategic partnership with Canada's NorthStar Gaming and agreed to advance CAD $3.0m (£1.8m) in short-term financing to the latter.

Future shares gained almost 5% to be the second biggest rise on the 250 index.

On the downside, PureTech Health led the fallers, down almost 3% although there was no obvious reason for the decline.
