Russell Fryer of Critical Metals (CRTM Follow | CRTM) talks to Vox’s Alastair Ford about the latest developments on the ground at the company’s Molulu copper project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The road that connects the project to major infrastructure is now undergoing an overhaul, and the company is also enhancing its ESG activities in the region, following the construction of a school and other local amenities.

The plan now is to recommence drilling after a short preparatory period that will involve trenching, and in due course look to put JORC numbers around resource in the ground ahead of a resumption of production. However, the company already has stockpiles waiting for shipment, so once the road is ready, cashflow could start fairly quickly. Russell and Alastair also talk about Critical Metals’ wider strategic vision
