The Company’s investment strategy includes investments in companies, projects or products that are progressing research in and development of medicinal cannabis and its derivatives, producing or cultivating medicinal cannabis, producing or supplying products derived from or related to cannabis (including, but not limited to, hemp and cannabidiol products); and/or commercialising or marketing medicinal cannabis and its derivatives.The Company currently holds a strategic 2.68% interest in Apollon Formularies Limited (“Apollon UK”). Apollon UK has the right to receive 95 percent of the net profits of Apollon Formularies Jamaica Limited (“Apollon Jamaica”). Apollon Jamaica is a medical cannabis company based in Jamaica. Apollon UK also has a right to acquire 90 percent of the issued and outstanding stock of Doc’s Place International, Inc., an all-inclusive wellness resort that through its affiliation with Apollon Jamaica is able to accommodate medical cannabis care and treatment involving licensed medical doctors.Further investments in, or acquisition of, Apollon UK, are subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
