Customers now must pay £1.95 to return clothes, with the cost taken from their refund. Items bought online can still be returned for free in stores.

3. Demand among tenants has jumped for properties where all the bills are included in the rent, according to Rightmove.

The property website said inquiries for build-to-rent homes with bills included had risen by 36% over the past year.
