The social media giant has blocked news to Australians since last Thursday in response to a proposed law which would make it and Google pay news publishers for content.

3. HSBC has signalled its "pivot to Asia", outlining plans to invest about $6bn (£4.3bn) in the region.

The strategy update came as HSBC reported a 34% drop in profits for 2020 partly due to the impact from Covid-19.
