has rearranged its board to appoint a new executive director whilst at the same time, losing two non-executives with immediate effect.
Sam Asante, currently Chief Operating Officer of the media business, kick-started his career after he “organically” grew a social media following of one million followers.
Asante worked at UNILAD from 2012 focusing on establishing commercial operations, before shifting to product and marketing.
Executive Chairman, David Sefton described Asante as having “unrivalled experience” and believes that he will “undoubtedly continue to play a key role in creating a robust, profitable business."
Additionally, two of the board’s non-executive directors, Richard Thompson and Will Muirhead, have resigned with immediate effect to focus on other interests.
“The team are now focused on building our own brands and helping other brands solve business problems and get fit for the digital age,” added Sefton.
