Jangada Mines (JAN) FOLLOW, the natural resources company exploring and developing North East Brazil, said on Monday that the group had identified a new target zone at its Pitombeiras Vanadium Project.

Located in the state of Ceará, Brazil, the project is Jangada’s 100% owned high-grade greenfield vanadium, titanium, iron exploration project with mineralisation commencing at surface.

Jangada have now extended the project’s footprint after identifying a new target, as well as eight magnetic anomaly targets to follow up with further exploration work.

“Our recent work has discovered a new target we call Goela, which adds substantial footprint to the overall prospect beyond the previously announced JORC Exploration Target,” said Brian McMaster, Chairman of Jangada.

The company will commence a fully funded 2,500 drilling campaign in January 2020 which will look at the possible connection between Pitombeiras and Goela.

Additionally, Jangada’s exploration license was extended for an additional three years by the Brazilian mineral authority.

As a result of this morning’s news, Mr McMaster described the company as entering “a truly exciting phase.”
