Live Company Group (AIM:LVCG FOLLOW) announced this morning that the first contract for Paddington Bear has been signed with White Rose shopping Centre in Leeds.

This is the second time the group has partnered with the White Rose Centre who it said are ‘delighted’ to be showcasing the Paddington Bear Models during the Christmas period 2020.

The media firm announced in March that it had inked an agreement with The Copyrights Group Limited to produce a BRICKLIVE tour themed around the Paddington Bear brand.

Under the agreement, its subsidiary Brick Live International (BLI) will produce and exhibit a themed trail of Paddington Bear models around the UK, Ireland and the Channels Islands.

The deal will run for an initial period to the end of February 2023, the company said, with Brick Live International to pay a royalty fee based on revenues generated from the tour.

Shares in Live Company Group have traded between 11p and 8p over the past three months to  open this morning at 8.5p.

"Our shopping centre partners have experienced extremely challenging times recently,” said Chairman of Live Company Group, David Ciclitira.

He added, “This new contract demonstrates that this sector of our business is recovering and that our partners continue to believe in our products as a way of enhancing their offering albeit in a new and socially distanced manner.

The group said it believes this will be the first of many bookings for Paddington Bear models.

The group said in its 1H20 results yesterday that it continues to navigate itself through the ongoing pandemic, enabling the company “to survive and re-launch its touring business.”

Having restructured its cost base, successfully maintained relationships with its key partners and begun to build new properties for the significant demand in 2021 and beyond, Live Company said this has enabled the business to survive and re-launch its touring business.
