Wishbone Gold (WSBN) updated the market regarding the Wishbone II Gold-Copper drill program in Northern Queensland. The company said the drill programme is proceeding well and approximately 25% of the designed programme have been completed to date. Initial Reverse Circulation drill samples have been transported back to the Terra Search office in Queensland and are undergoing tests prior to being sent to the lab for full analysis. The Initial tests confirm the presence of elevated copper, coincident with visible oxidised copper and primary chalcopyrite mineralisation.

Shanta Gold (SHG), the East Africa-focused gold producer, said that it has been awarded a maiden mining licence (ML 673/2022 covering the Porcupine South resource area of the Lupa Gold Fields, approximately 22 kilometers from the New Luika Gold Mine Processing Plant.

ANGLE (AGL), a liquid biopsy company, announced that the Edith Cowan University, Perth, Australia, has published results from a study in small cell lung cancer patients using the Parsortix® system. The primary aim of this study was to demonstrate the ability to evaluate the PD-L1 status of isolated circulating tumour cells, providing an alternative sample than solid tissue in SCLC, which may help to predict response to immunotherapy.

Brave stock market newbie (in the present environment), Psych Capital (PSY), the psychedelic healthcare incubation and investment company, said that its portfolio company Awakn Life Sciences has announced results and business highlights for the three months ended April 30, 2022. PSY said it was “delighted” with the progress Awakn has made while maintaining a strong growth trajectory. It looks forward to further positive developments shortly as it continues to “deliver” on its mission to revolutionise treatments for addiction.

Feedback (FDBK), the specialist clinical communication company, provides a trading update for the year ended 31 May 2022. The company said trading for FY22 was materially ahead of market expectations with revenue expected to be reported as c.£0.59m (FY21: £0.29m), up approximately 105%, following a significant increase in sales to £0.67m (FY21: £0.18m), up approximately 280%.

Sovereign Metals Limited (SVML) announced the results of the Expanded Scoping Study for the Company's Kasiya Rutile Project in Malawi. In April 2022, Sovereign announced a new JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Kasiya which confirmed the Project as the world's largest rutile (titanium dioxide) deposit and one of the world's largest flake graphite deposits. The after tax NPV now stands at $1,537m up 79% and the average annual EBITDA at $323m up 101%.

Zephyr Energy (ZPHR), the Rocky Mountain oil and gas company, updated on recent activity on its non-operated asset portfolio in the Williston Basin, North Dakota, U.S, including the acquisition of working-interests in a further 11 wells. Zephyr's non-operated portfolio now consists of WIs in 219 wells, the vast majority of which are currently in production. The company said cashflows from Zephyr's non-operated portfolio continue to exceed earlier expectations, which allows it to fund additional accretive drilling investments and maintain a strong non-operated production profile without diverting resources from its planned Paradox Basin drilling programme.

Bens Creek Group (BEN), the owner of a metallurgical coal mine in North America supplying the steel industry, revealed an updated reserve base evaluation, undertaken by Marshall Miller & Associates, Inc., of its coal properties located primarily in Mingo County, West Virginia, USA. The company said that the work undertaken by Marshall Miller has confirmed its expectation of improved coal reserves as a result of recent coal lease agreements with M.G.C. Inc. and Star Ridge combined with our original property.  The identified estimated in-place reserve base of 92.7 million tons, with an estimated recoverable tonnage of 33.6 million, should ensure that its mining targets are able to extend the life of its mining operations to meet the global demand for metallurgical coal.

Tintra (TNT), the Bank Technology business, announced that it has filed a UK patent application to protect intellectual property that it has created as part of its rapid research and development program. The company will be seeking international patent protection for the verification and authentication of independent digital wallets.

AfriTin Mining (ATM), an African technology metals mining company, provide the unaudited quarterly production update for the Uis Mine for the first quarter of the 2023 Financial Year ending 31 May 2022. The company said its tin-producing operation at the Uis Mine continues to deliver “record-breaking” performance. Initiatives aimed at improving its unit costs are yielding positive results. The Phase 1 Expansion Project is nearing completion and will further strengthen its tin revenue base.

Cizzle Biotechnology (CIZ), the UK based diagnostics developer, has entered into an agreement with the Behnke Group, a Texas-based healthcare consulting firm with decades of experience collaborating with healthcare organizations across the USA and internationally. The company said the relationship will build on the announcement on 6 May 2022 that it had signed a heads of terms to partner with CorePath Laboratories, a full service cancer reference laboratory, to develop and offer its proprietary early-stage lung cancer test throughout the USA.

KEFI (KEFI), the gold and copper exploration and development company, updated on its Gold and Minerals Limited Hawiah Copper-Gold Project and Jibal Qutman Gold Project in Saudi Arabia. G&M is owned 30% by KEFI and 70% by its partner Abdul Rahman Saad Al Rashid and Sons Ltd. The company said In Saudi Arabia, it now has two development projects in progress after being held up for many years awaiting a regulatory overhaul. It is looking to develop its Jibal Qutman Gold Project and then to follow with the start-up of the Hawiah Copper-Gold Project.

Tertiary Minerals (TYM), the AIM traded mineral exploration and development company, announce that it has completed its first drill programme at the Jacks Copper Project in Zambia. Jacks lies within exploration licence 27069-HQ-LEL, held by local partner Mwashia Resources Limited. Tertiary has an exclusive option to earn up to a 90% joint venture interest in the licence.

Alien Metals (UFO), a global minerals exploration and development company, announced the release of its audited, financial results for the year ended 31 December 2021. The company said it entered 2021 with a strong balance sheet and a solid portfolio of advanced exploration assets in Western Australia and Mexico. Despite global challenges attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, Alien has been able to advance its key projects, Hamersley Iron Ore, Elizabeth Hill and Donovan 2.

genedrive (GDR), the near patient molecular diagnostics company, announced that the UK's NICE has started an evaluation of the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 test via their Diagnostics Assessment Programme. DAP evaluations are designed to provide robust recommendations on the use of new products, which is presented in the form of NICE guidance, and to promote rapid and consistent adoption of clinically innovative and cost-effective diagnostic technologies in the NHS.
