If a jump in profits is anything to go by, Asimilar (ASLR) must be one of the more interesting stocks on the London market. The investment company announced its audited results for the year ended 30 September 2021. Profit after tax of £26.7 million (2020: £0.4 million). This has been contributed to by a £5 million investment into Dev Clever at 10p per share, and further investment in other existing portfolio companies, including Audioboom, SeeQuestor, Magic Media Works, Gfinity and Sparkledun

Xtract Resources (XTR) said that independent laboratory assays have been received for drill holes BRDD-021-026 and BRDD-21-027 from the Phase 2 diamond drilling programme at the Bushranger copper-gold exploration project. The company said that Hole number BRDD-21-026 was a very good hole in that it extended mineralisation to depth in a sparsely drilled area. In reviewing the new results from the current geophysical programme it would suggest that hole BRDD-21-027 was not ideally located relative to geophysical anomalies and we appear to have drilled through the outer margins of the porphyry.

Tungsten West (TUN), the mining Company focussed on recommencing production at the Hemerdon tungsten and tin mine in Devon, England, said that it broke ground at Hemerdon for the installation of the X-Ray Transmission Ore Sorters on 17 March 2022. This event marks another major step in the company's upgrade and refurbishment plans for the Projects processing plant.

PYX Resources Limited (PYX), the world's second largest publicly listed zircon producer by zircon resources, has increased the price of its premium zircon 34% from $2,305 to $3,100 per tonne with immediate effect; up 135% since the start of 2021.

Roquefort Therapeutics (ROQ), the Main Market listed biotech company has filed its first composition of matter provisional patent application for a new class of RNA therapeutic drugs targeting Midkine.

Cadence Minerals (KDNC), updated on the ongoing Pre-Feasibility Study at its flagship Amapa Iron Ore Project. The company said the Amapa Mine has all the attributes of a significant iron ore deposit, and the upgraded Mineral Resource Estimate of 176.7m tonnes grading 39.7% Fe at the Inferred category provides the Cadence board with great confidence in its investment decision.

Greatland Gold (GGP), a mining development and exploration company, announce its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2021. The company said it has continued to deliver outstanding progress at Havieron, and is well capitalised to accelerate exploration activities.

Mosman Oil and Gas (MSMN) the oil exploration, development, and production company, announced the completion of the on-site portion of the Environmental Survey at EP-145, located in the Amadeus Basin in the Northern Territory, Australia. The Environmental Survey was completed on schedule and initial results have been received. The next step is the receipt of the final report and submission to the NT government.

Semper Fortis Esports (SEMP), the esports company focused that few over 25 years of age understand fully, said that two of its FIFA players will be participating in the upcoming Grand Final of the ePremier League's fourth season on 26 and 27 March 2022, which will be featured LIVE on Sky Sports across the UK.

Helium One Global (HE1) announced the appointment of Nigel Friend to the Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.  Friend brings significant industry experience having spent more than 35 years working in oil and gas industry and corporate finance.

Castillo Copper (CCZ), a base metal explorer, reported a successful trip by the geology team to the core library in Broken Hill, NSW, where they analysed diamond core from drill-holes BH1 and BH2 at The Sisters Prospect1 within the East Zone, BHA Project.

Ariana Resources (AAU), the AIM-listed mineral exploration and development company, provided an update on Venus Minerals Ltd.  Venus is focused on the exploration and development of copper and gold assets in Cyprus and is 50% owned by Ariana and its beneficial ownership will remain dominated by Cypriot and British shareholders. The company said this Joint Venture agreement with Hellenic Copper Mines and contractor the Iacovou Group ensures Venus can fast-track to the mining stage within 18 months following its proposed stock exchange listing.

As we wait on the share price to react fully to recent oil price rises, Serinus Energy (SENX) announced its Annual Financial Results for 2021. Revenue for the year ended 31 December 2021 was $40.0 million (31 December 2020 - $24.0 million). The company generated net income of $8.4 million (31 December 2020 - loss of $9.3 million).

Kibo Energy (KIBO), the renewable energy focused development company, announces that pursuant to its strategic re-positioning as a renewable and clean energy company, the company has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire the Victoria Falls Solar Park project in Zimbabwe from Broomfield International Limited. This is classed as a RTO and shares of Kibo will be suspended. 

Lexington Gold (LEX), the gold exploration and development company with projects in North and South Carolina, USA, announced assay results received in respect of the remaining 21 drill holes from the Company's reverse circulation drilling programme at the Carolina Belle project. The company said that the final assay results from its maiden drilling campaign at Carolina Belle have exceeded expectations for this reconnaissance programme.

Orosur Mining (OMI) said that its geological teams have mobilised to Santa Cruz Province, Argentina, to commence the Company's first field exploration program at the El Pantano Gold/Silver Project. The company said that with the hand over of Anzá, its attention now turns to its new projects. El Pantano represents an “exciting” project in that it demonstrates all of the early stage geological signs of a major epithermal system - but is largely untouched by modern exploration.

Chariot (CHAR), the Africa focused transitional energy company, has entered into a newly established partnership with First Quantum Minerals to advance the development of a 430 MW solar and wind power project for its mining operations in Zambia.

Alba Mineral Resources (ALBA) updated on the Clogau-St David's Gold Mine where assay results from a Phase 2 sampling programme undertaken at the historic Waste Tip have returned gold grades of up to 11.35 g/t.

Spinnaker Acquisitions said that the re-admission of the company's ordinary shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange will take place and dealings will commence at 8.00 a.m. today under the ticker ONDO following its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Leakbot Limited. As a result of the Acquisition the Company now owns 100% of Leakbot. The Company will be renamed Ondo InsurTech Plc in due course.

Blencowe (BRES) said that the Akelikongo Nickel Project exploration programme is underway. The company said it has “hit the ground running” on Akelikongo and work has already commenced to plan the necessary airborne and other surveys to identify new drill targets.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources (CGNR), the gold exploration and development company said that two Mines Royal Options have been granted by the Crown Estate to the Joint Venture company, Conroy Gold (Armagh) Limited. The grant of these options meets the final outstanding condition precedent to completion of the Joint Venture Agreement, with Demir Export A.

Rockfire Resources (ROCK), the gold and base metal exploration company, said that the Company's 100% owned Copperhead Cu-Mo-Ag Deposit in Queensland, Australia, has delivered a maiden JORC (2012) Mineral Resource of 120,000 tonnes of copper equivalent.
