ANGLE (AGL), a liquid biopsy company, said that a leading cancer research institute, Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori, Milan, Italy, has published results of work undertaken in advanced non-small cell lung cancer and sarcoma patients. The institute demonstrated that the Parsortix® system could successfully isolate circulating tumour cells from frozen peripheral blood mononuclear cell samples. PBMC samples contain any blood cell with a nucleus, including white blood cells and CTCs, but has been depleted of red blood cells which do not have a nucleus. The potential ability to process frozen samples could allow for retrospective analyses and improve sample sharing capabilities in multicentre studies.

After the market close yesterday San Leon (SLE), the independent oil and gas company focused on Nigeria, noted the announcement made by Decklar Resources Inc.  in Canada. Decklar said the initial successful shipments of crude oil via trucks have been made from the Oza Oil Field to the Umugini Pipeline Infrastructure Limited crude handling facilities. Decklar and its co-venturer Millenium Oil & Gas Company Limited have trucked approximately 4,000 barrels of crude oil from storage tanks at the Oza Oil Field to the UPIL crude handling facilities, from which the oil will then be transferred to the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited Joint Venture Forcados Oil Export Terminal via the Umugini Pipeline.

Trident Royalties (TRR), the diversified mining royalty and streaming company, noted the state government approval of TM Gold's Mining Management Plan for its 100% owned Spring Hill Gold Project located in Australia's Northern Territory. Trident owns a variable priced royalty over the entirety of the Spring Hill Project Royalty provides for A$13.30 per ounce of gold produced at Spring Hill which represents an approximate 0.5% gross revenue royalty.

Clontarf Energy (CLON), where the punters have been very enthusiastic of late, said that drilling of Sasanof-1 well has now started. The well was spudded with the jetting of the 36" conductor at a water depth 1,068.3 metres. Drilling is now underway on the 17-1/2" intermediate hole section to a depth of 2,030m, 13-3/8" casing will then be run and cemented. This will be followed by the drilling the 12-1/4" hole section through the target reservoir section to a total depth of 2,500 metres. The current schedule expects drilling through the target reservoir occurring, at earliest, between 2nd and 5th June.

Aura Energy (AURA) said it will commence a 10,000 metre infill drilling program at its Tiris Uranium Project on 30 May 2022, with results expected in Q4 FY2022. The program will seek to increase Measured and Indicated (M&I) Resources, supporting potential near term expansion of the initial 800klb project, with the aspiration to expand the resource to support the expansion of Tiris to ultimately operate at 3 to 5 Mlbs U3O8 production per year.

Southern Energy (SOUC) released its first quarter financial and operating results for the three months ended March 31, 2022. The company said with the results of its three well drilling program at Gwinville expected imminently, its focus remains on the delivery of these results in an efficient and safe manner. Success with these three wells may see Southern commencing a continual drilling program at Gwinville, taking advantage of its low-risk drilling inventory.

ATOME (ATOM), the independent green hydrogen and ammonia group announced its audited results for the period ended 31 December 2021. The company said that In the short period since the IPO, it has signed a world-class scale power purchase agreement for 60 MW in Paraguay as well as creating its Mobility Division and ordered its first electrolyser.  All this means in 2023 it expect to be generating its first revenues ahead of expectations.

4D pharma (DDDD), a pharmaceutical company, announced the presentation of a trial in progress poster from the Phase II clinical trial of MRx0518 in combination with BAVENCIO® (avelumab), a PD-L1 blocking antibody, as a first-line maintenance therapy for patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma, at the 2022 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL.

Slightly under loved Kibo Energy (KIBO), the renewable energy focused development company, announced the termination of its intended acquisition of the Victoria Falls Solar Park project in Zimbabwe from Broomfield International Limited. Kibo has concluded its due diligence investigation on the Project, the findings of which were not completely to the satisfaction of Kibo.

Oilex (OEX) updated with respect to the re-classification of Cambay gas and condensate volumes to reserves and increase in resources. A review of Oilex's net reserve and resource position in the Cambay PSC has resulted in the return of 206 BCF of gas and 8 million barrels of condensate to the 2P Reserves category from Contingent Resources. Oilex's participating interest in the reserves and resources has increased from 45% to 100% following its purchase of GSPC's share of the project.
