Tekcapital (TEK), the AIM-listed UK intellectual property investment group, today announced it will be participating at the Marketing & Technology Transfer Hub for the Americas in Chile.
Held on 6th September in Santiago, Chile, the Marketing and Technology Transfer Hub is a high-level training program aimed at entrepreneurs and technology transfer professionals in Latin America interested in bringing their products and services “from idea to market.”
The event is run by the Organization of American States (OAS), the University of Development, the UC Davis Chile Center of Excellence, the National Council of Science and Technology of Mexico and the Center for Biological Research of the Northwest.
And Tekcapital, which counts smart glasses company Lucyd and salt-alternative Salarius among its portfolio companies, will be delivering a master class at the September event.
Tekcapital CEO Dr. Clifford Gross said: “We are excited to be part of this prestigious international program in Latin America. This activity builds on our initial training program delivered in Chile last May and in Mexico last year. We are also in discussions for similar types of programs in Brazil, the largest market in Latin America.
“We are grateful for the terrific work of our team members Maria Kowalski, Business Development Manager for Latin American and Spain, and Michael Rosen, Managing Director of Academic and Entrepreneurship Training, for their contribution to this initiative.”
Last week, Tekcapital portfolio company Lucyd launched a new online shop to sell its next generation smart glasses – read more here.
