Directorate Appointments

The Company is delighted to announce the appointment of Charles Bray and Michael Staten as directors to the Company. Nicholas Nelson, supported by Michael Staten, will continue running the day to day PLC matters and his position as a director of EME Mine Nigeria Limited remains unchanged.   Following these changes, the board will be as follows:

Mike Staten, Executive Director

Simon Retter, Non Executive Director

Devon Marais, Non Executive Director

Charles Bray has enjoyed a 29 year career in securities trading and capital markets for small companies.  In his current role with Astin Capital Manangement Limited he works to provide funding and investment for SME listed businesses with a particular focus on the natural resources sector.  The firm has raised over £1.2 billion for its clients from a Europe wide investor base.

Mike Staten is a long standing investor and supporter of Equatorial Mining & Exploration Plc. Until 2017, Mike was employed as the Head of Trading at Darwin Strategic, which provides finance and advisory support for a portfolio of small quoted companies.  During 2011/2012 Mike collaborated with Charles Bray as a director of Astin Capital and the professional relationship enjoyed by Charles and Mike will be to the good of the Company as it proceeds with its acquisition and investment strategy.

Michael Paul Staten, British, age 37, Directorships in the past five years:

Charles Grant Bray, British, age 51, Directorships in the past five years:
