<p class="ax">Union Jack Oil plc (AIM: UJO), a <location value="LC/gb" idsrc="xmltag.org" >UK</location> focused onshore conventional hydrocarbon production, development and exploration company, notes the announcement issued by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on behalf of the <location value="LC/gb" idsrc="xmltag.org" >UK</location> Government, on 2 November 2019, in respect of a shale gas moratorium.</p>
<p class="ax">This statement will have no impact on Union Jack's continuing and planned future production, development and exploration operations which are exclusively conventional.</p>
<p class="ax">The Company has no intent to engage in hydraulic fracturing operations in <location value="LS/gb.eng" idsrc="xmltag.org" >England</location>, neither now nor in the future.</p>
