Blancco Technology Group (AIM:BLTG) FOLLOW has entered into a multi-year master service agreement with global professional services firm, Aon.

The AIM-listed data security company said Aon’s EMEA Affinity business will use Blancco’s technology which it acquired as part of the Inhance Technology acquisition in July 2019.

"This is an excellent example of how our proprietary technology obtained through the acquisition of Inhance can be used by channel partners,” said Matt Jones, CEO of Blancco.

The group noted that its technology “can support mobile insurance distribution and we are delighted to have so rapidly commercialised this market-leading technology solution.”

This morning’s statement said that Aon has identified Blancco as the industry leader in on-board device diagnostics technology following ‘an extensive selection process.’

Shares in Blancco Technology Group were trading 2.14% higher at 191p on Tuesday.

Aon said diagnostics play ‘a vital role’ for its technology strategy in profiling the specification and operating condition of internet-connected devices, enabling a wealth of applications for risk pricing, service onboarding, personalisation of offers and fraud management.

"Using Blancco has contributed greatly to Aon's platform proposition for Affinity clients,” said Gonzalo Torres de Arcos, Head of Telecom, Media & Technology, Affinity, EMEA at Aon.

“Under the agreement, international deployment is already underway in Europe and Asia and we look forward to working with Blancco across the globe,” he added.

Aon said its global data and analytic services team will support Affinity clients operating at scale in order to drive customer engagement and revenues.
