(TEK), an intellectual property (IP) investment group focused on “creating marketplace value from university technology,” will deliver a webinar on the commercialisation of university IP with the Creativity and Innovation Center 4.0 of the Universidad Tecnológica de Querétaro.
By revealing the under-utilised IP opportunities emerging from university research, Tekcapital’s webinar will be aimed at imparting to universities and companies the most effective strategies for identifying, critically assessing, and licencing university findings.
Essentially, Tekcapital wants to share the way in which they have found success by approaching these university discoveries through a venture capital lens.
Partnering with the CIC seems a beneficial move, then, as the Center is focused on perfecting manufacturing industry practices-- allowing it to be the corporate edge to Tekcapital’s university research experience.
The webinar will take place on December 14th, 2018 at 7:00pm GMT and is accessible via this link. While it will be delivered to a live audience at CIC’s auditorium in Mexico, both live and remote audience members are able to partake in a Q&A session at the end.
