Caerus Mineral Resources (CMRS), the Cyprus-based exploration and resource development company, updated on exploration activities on the Kambia - Kapedes Project Licences in Cyprus. The company said the combination of high-grade gold assays at regular intervals all along the 175 m strike length of the target defined to date makes for a readymade drill target and another “promising” opportunity for Caerus.

San Leon (SLE), the independent oil and gas company, noted the announcement made yesterday by Decklar Resources Inc. in Canada.  San Leon has a 11.5% shareholding in Decklar Petroleum Limited, and has also made a US$5.5 million loan to DPL, via 10% per annum unsecured subordinated loan notes. Decklar Resources revealed the commencement of the shipment of crude oil via trucks from the Oza Oil Field to the UPIL crude handling facilities for further transfer to the SPDC Joint Venture Forcados Oil Export Terminal via the Umugini Pipeline.

Technology Minerals (TM1), the battery metals specialist, announced that the Environment Agency  has awarded its 49% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd, an environmental permit at its lead-acid battery recycling plant in Tipton, West Midlands for a hazardous waste installation, primarily involved in the treatment and processing of lead-acid batteries.

IXICO (IXI), the neuroimaging Contract Research Organisation, has entered a multi-party consortium for the development of improved imaging biomarkers for the early detection and staging of Huntington's disease.   The consortium will develop new standards for HD image analysis on existing HD image datasets.  This contract is for circa £0.9 million revenues which are expected to be delivered within 2022.

Mosman Oil and Gas (MSMN) the oil production company, announced a £1.1 million conditional placing to fund the drilling of the first re-development well in the Challenger Project in Texas, of which Mosman has a 97% working interest. If the targeted production rates are achieved, Mosman Net Production could increase 88% from 130 boepd to circa 245 boepd. It ooks like Shell and BP have a new competitor waiting in the wings.

Amur Minerals (AMC), the nickel-copper sulphide mineral exploration and resource development company focused on the far east of Russia, said that a circular and Notice of General Meeting was posted to Shareholders yesterday. The General Meeting will be held on 25 May 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and is being convened in relation to the company's recently announced proposed sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, AO Kun-Manie. The result will be interesting to behold.

Greatland Gold (GGP), a mining development and exploration company, has been awarded a grant from the Western Australian Government to co-fund exploration drilling and mobilisation costs at its 100% owned Rudall licence in the Paterson province. Greatland is eligible to receive a grant up to A$200,000 (£115,000) to co-fund drilling and mobilisation costs, within 12 months of the grant.

Alien Metals (UFO), a global minerals exploration and development company, updated the market on ongoing exploration activities at its high-grade silver and copper-gold projects in Zacatecas, Mexico. The company said it was “very pleased” to see this initial drilling at San Celso and Donovan 2 intersect showing encouraging zones of alteration. The Donovan 2 drilling has returned some strong disseminated sulphide intersections, which is “highly promising” for the potential presence of a VMS type mineralised system. In particular, hole A04 returned a 78m thick zone of intense alteration and visible sulphides, including pyrite and arsenopyrite. 

Rockfire Resources (ROCK), the gold and base metal exploration company, announced that reanalysis of historical diamond drill core has discovered the presence of one of the world's critical metals, germanium, at the Molaoi zinc deposit in Greece. The company said the recent confirmation of high-grade zinc, lead, silver and the addition of germanium, Molaoi is shaping up to be a high-value deposit at a time when all these metals are increasing in demand against a backdrop of supply shortage.

Xtract Resources (XTR) said that independent laboratory assays have been received for a number of drill holes from the Phase 2 diamond drilling programme at the Bushranger copper-gold exploration project. The company said that this is an “eclectic” group of drill hole results showing some degree of mineralisation and some meaningful gold values. The holes were mainly located in the area between Ascot and Racecourse testing the new geophysical anomalies.

Shanta Gold (SHG), the East Africa-focused gold producer, announced its production and operational results for the year ended 31 December 2021. The company said that Shanta ended the year in a strong position, with reporting in line with revised guidance and operations across all three assets positively poised for the coming year. The Company is now able to grow substantially, with Shanta on a clear path to becoming a +100,000oz producer by early 2023.

Dekel Agri-Vision (DKL), the West African agriculture company, provided an April production update for its Ayenouan palm oil project in Côte d'Ivoire, and an update on the timing of the ramp-up of production of our large-scale cashew processing plant at Tiebissou, Côte d'Ivoire. The company said that the recent monthly trend of weak FFB volumes has been largely offset by continued strong CPO and PKO sales prices, in addition to a relatively strong CPO extraction rate has continued in April 2022. It remains focused on maximising its prices and completing the delivery of the Cashew Project.

CyanConnode Holdings (CYAN), a Narrowband Radio Frequency Smart Mesh Networks operator, said it has received its first order from IntelliSmart Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, for a smart metering deployment in Assam, India. Under the purchase order, CyanConnode will supply 100,000 Omnimesh Modules and associated services / annual contracts.
