Belluscura  (BELL), a medical device developer, said that three additional US patents have recently issued, increasing the number of issued and pending patent applications the company owns or exclusively licenses to thirty. The company said its engineering team continues to develop next generation oxygen enrichment technology along with its research partner, Separation Design Group. It sees “significant expanding future opportunities” in the supplemental oxygen field.

SEED Innovations (SEED), the AIM quoted company investing, noted an announcement released on the ASX by its portfolio company, Little Green Pharma Ltd  of a 2.5 year, large volume take-or-pay contract with Four 20 Pharma for the exclusive supply of a new high-THC strain into Germany. SEED owns 3.1% of LGP's issued share capital.

Chariot (CHAR), the African focused transitional energy company, said that it has conditionally raised gross proceeds of $25.5 million (£20.4 million) through the successful Placing at 18p. In addition, the company proposes to raise up to a further $4 million (£3.2 million).

Quantum Exponential Group (QBIT), a company focused on investing in quantum technology, said that it will be taking part in an Institute of Physics Business Briefing workshop entitled: Start-Up Fundraising.  The workshop, which takes place on the 14 June 2022 is aimed at tech-based companies looking to take new innovations to market and seeking investment.

Valereum (VLRM), the Gibraltar technology group, said it is continuing to work through the regulatory processes to complete the acquisition of its 90% stake in the Gibraltar Stock Exchange. The company said it is looking forward to this project being fully launched and the GSX becoming a true global player and a key component of the Gibraltar financial community.

Audioboom (BOOM), the global podcast company, announces that, on 18 May 2022, Michael Tobin OBE, non-executive Chairman of the Company, purchased a further 3,901 shares at 1513p. Tobin now holds a 4.3% stake.

Horizonte Minerals (HZM), the nickel development company with assets in Brazil, said that the company has officially commenced construction and broken ground at its flagship Araguaia Nickel Project. A ground breaking ceremony was held on 18 May 2022. The company said that this key milestone marks the transition of the Project from development to the construction phase.

Bluejay Mining (JAY), exploration company with projects in Greenland and Finland, announced its Final Results for the year ended 31 December 2021. The company said that one of the most significant developments during the Period was the signing of a JV agreement at the Disko-Nuussuaq magmatic massive sulphide nickel-copper-platinum-cobalt project in Greenland with KoBold Metals , whereby KoBold will fund exploration on the project. KoBold's principal investor is Breakthrough Energy Ventures, which is overseen by Bill Gates.

 Prospex Energy (PXEN), the AIM quoted investment company, announced its audited Final Results for the year ended 31 December 2021. The company said it has been a transformational year for Prospex as it transitioned from being an investing company with interests in exploration assets to a company including interests in a gas producing and electricity generating asset.
