Audioboom (BOOM), the podcast company which remains independent said that according to Triton Digital's May 2022 Podcast Reports, it is now ranked as the third largest US podcast publisher based on the number of average weekly users. In the US, Audioboom averaged 6.7 million users per week during May and moved into third position. The company’s stock has recently offered shareholders something of a white knuckle ride, which this data may go to alleviate, mooted M&A developments notwithstanding.

Hydrogen Utopia International (HUI), a waste plastics to hydrogen technology company, announced that the design of its waste plastic to hydrogen system has reached an advanced stage and a programme of testing will now commence. HUI has been working in collaboration with Electron Technologies BV in the Netherlands since May 2021 on the design of a unique thermal processing system for the conversion of waste plastics to hydrogen.   Electron and HUI have considered the thermochemistry of the entire process from basic principles and the equipment design has been developed accordingly.

Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), the proton therapy system developer for cancer treatment, announced an equity fundraise of £6,022,500. The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes as the Company progresses towards having a fully operational LIGHT system operating at 230 MeV.

CloudCoCo (CLCO), a provider of managed IT services announced its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 31 March 2022. Revenue increased 183% to £11.6m (H1 2021: £4.1m), of which 70% was generated from recurring contracts. Gross Profit increased by 119% to £3.5m (H1 2021: £1.6m), a margin of 30%. All that and a fun name too.

Symphony Environmental Technologies (SYM), the sustainable technologies group, announced a supply agreement for its d2p antimicrobial technology with Grupo Bimbo. The company said the agreement represents a major commercial advance in relation to d2p. Grupo Bimbo is the largest bread manufacturer in the western world for those who do not have the time to check on the disambiguation of Bimbo on Wikipedia.

Sunrise Resources (SRES) said that it has granted an Option to Purchase its wholly owned Pioche Sepiolite Project in Nevada, US to a US subsidiary of Spanish company Tolsa S.A., the world's largest producer of Sepiolite.

Hamak Gold (HAMA) announced significant gold assay results from initial rock chip samples collected in the Nimba exploration licence where positive gold in soil anomalies were recently reported. The company said it has identified a bedrock source of gold that supports the recently announced gold in soil anomalies and which materially upgrades the prospectivity of the Nimba permit. Next steps include trenching and channel sampling across the gold in soil anomalies to determine the extent of the bedrock mineralization to justify a first stage drilling programme.

Cloudbreak Discovery (CDL), a natural resources project generator, announced that Norseman Silver Inc has fulfilled the obligations under the option agreement it entered into with Cloudbreak on 2 June 2020 and completed the royalty assignment agreement, ratifying Cloudbreak a 2% net smelter royalty covering the Caribou property.

Mode Global Holdings (MODE), the LSE-listed Fintech Group, released its full year financial results for 2021. The firm said Users grew by 261% over the 12 months, with 70% of trading customers being repeat buyers. Trading volume increased by 732% compared to the same period in 2020.

Rainbow Rare Earths (RBW) confirmed the development of a process flowsheet to extract rare earth elements efficiently from the phosphogypsum stacks at the company's Phalaborwa Project in South Africa. The process has been developed by Rainbow in collaboration with K-Technologies, Inc., USA, following extensive test work carried out at ANSTO Minerals, Australia, and at K-Tech's facilities in Florida, U.S.A.

Petrel (PET) announced its results for the year ended 31st December 2021. The company said its directors agreed to personally purchase a disputed circa 20% shareholding. Its Iraqi business is being re-galvanised, with data bases being updated, and updated proposals submitted to the incoming administration. A ratification plan agreed-in-principle with Ghanaian authorities - though ideally needs recovery of the farm-out market, to fund an early well.

Firering (FRG), an exploration company, confirmed that FOREMI (part of Foraco International SA), the diamond drilling contractor has arrived on site and commenced work at its flagship Atex dual Lithium-Tantalum Project, in Côte d'Ivoire.

WANdisco (WAND), the data activation platform, has signed its largest ever contract with a value of $11.6m with a top ten global communications company. The terms of the contract provide that 50% of the $11.6M will be paid in advance. As it is a Commit-to-Consume contract, revenue will be recognised as the customer moves its data. 

CleanTech Lithium (CTL), an exploration and development company, said it has applied for 119 new exploration licences, covering a total area of over 600km², which constitute the Llamara Project.

Orosur Mining (OMI), announced positive assay results from a follow up soil sampling program at the La Esfinge prospect at El Pantano, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. The company said there was High level gold in soils anomaly over 1km, plus pathfinder elements over wider area, suggestive of a major epithermal system.

Savannah Energy (SAV), the British independent energy company, announced that Accugas Limited, the company's 80% indirectly owned subsidiary, has commenced gas sales to TransAfam Power Limited in relation to the provision of gas for use at its power plants in Rivers State, Nigeria.

Coro Energy (CORO), the South East Asian energy company, announced its final results for the year ended 31 December 2021. The company said its strategy remains to monetise the Duyung PSC, use the Italian cash flows, which more than covers the Company’s G&A costs, and invest selectively in South East Asian renewables and high graded Italian production enhancement opportunities. Recent volatility in energy markets have presented “huge opportunity” to Coro with the re-birth of the Italian portfolio alongside a significant uplift in the core NAV of its position in the Duyung PSC.

OptiBiotix Health (OPTI), a life sciences business, announced its audited results for the 12 months ended 31 December 2021. Full year revenue was £2.2m, a 45.3% increase on 2020 (£1.5m) and there was a 27.7% increase in gross profit from £879K (2020) to £1.1m (2021). The company said both ProBiotic and PreBiotic businesses are EBITDA profitable, and there was a Group net profit of £6.3m. It products are winning awards in several jurisdictions and an increasing number of large companies like The Hut Group, Holland and Barrett, AlfaSigma, Apollo Hospitals, and Nahdi Medical are using them.

Conroy Gold and Natural Resources (CGNR), the gold exploration and development company, with a sprightly Chairman, announced that the first two drill holes of an eight-hole drilling programme that commenced on the Clontibret Gold deposit have been drilled, as part of the Step-Out Drilling Programme announced on 14 March 2022. Both drill holes intersected mineralisation.

Novacyt (NCYT), a specialist in clinical diagnostics, announces the launch of its research-use-only polymerase chain reaction (PCR) monkeypox assay in response to the recent outbreak of the virus in non-endemic countries. The company said that the launch of this assay expands Novacyt's genesig® real-time PCR diagnostic product portfolio and is in line with its strategy to maintain its position as a global first responder in infectious diseases.

CAP-XX (CPX), a manufacturer of ultra-thin prismatic and high-power cylindrical supercapacitors, announced it is expanding its product offering to include Lithium-ion Capacitors (LICs). The Company will highlight its new LICs at Sensors Converge, booth #542, being held in San Jose, CA, June 27 – 29, for those who know the way there.
