IMImobile (IMO) FOLLOW, a global cloud communications software and solutions provider, announced it is working with Vauxhall Motors to launch Apple Business Chat, an innovative customer engagement channel.

The new platform will be powered by a service technology utilised by IMImobile’s enterprise platform, enabling the UK car manufacturer to offer the messaging feature as a new communication channel to their customers.

Sudarshan Dharmapuri, Senior Vice President of Products at IMImobile, commented: "Utilising our enterprise communications platform as a service (CPaaS) technology, Vauxhall is now able to seamlessly offer Apple Business Chat as a new customer engagement channel to their customers".

Its application will offer a new dimension to the way in which Vauxhall engage with their customers, with the service enabling instant customer support, as well as granting its customers the ability to book test drives for new car models.
